Redmi K30 Pro was recently account announced in China with its two variants- a Standard Edition and a Zoom Edition.
And, this Redmi phone from the much loving K-Series brings all the features we were expecting from it.
Here we are with the review of the much-awaited Redmi K30 Pro and Redmi K30 Pro Zoom along with some common differences between them.

Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition: Features and Specifications
Display and Design
The Front of the Redmi K30 Pro has a bezel-less, no-notch design just like its predecessor from last year. It has a 6.67-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display along with a 60Hz refresh rate.
Honestly, we were expecting something better in terms of refresh rate (at least 90Hz).
Also, the Display panel of the Redmi K30 Pro is manufactured by Samsung. It boasts a 20:9 aspect ratio, 2340 x 1080p resolution, 180Hz touch sampling rate, 1200nits of brightness, and HDR10+ support.
Redmi K30 Pro has a pop-up selfie camera just like we saw of the Redmi K20, along with the LED notification feature. You can also customize this LED, according to the different situations of the phone.
Coming to the design, Redmi has recently started using the square camera system on Note 9 series and more, but in the K30 Pro, Redmi has implemented a new circular camera module. And it looks great. Also, the gradient design on the back is appealing and it is protected by Gorilla Glass 5 glass.
Also, Nowadays most of the Redmi smartphones in the market arrive with a p2i nano-coating to protect the devices from water splashes and droplets. But, in Redmi K30 Pro, the device is protected with IP53 dust and water-resistant certification. This is the first Redmi smartphone to arrive with an IP rating.
Hardware and Software
Redmi K30 Pro is a flagship, so it is fueled by the Snapdragon 865 processor along with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage up to 256GB. Now, the UFS 3.1 makes the read and write faster, you can get up to 777MB/s of read and write speeds.
For the cooling, it has a 3435 square-millimeter vapor chamber, with multiple layers of graphene sheets along with a stainless steel hot plate. This prevents the smartphone from exceeding higher temperatures.
Camera and Battery
The cameras are the major attraction of the Redmi K30 Pro. You get a Circular quad-camera setup, The main camera of Redmi K30 Pro boasts a 64MP f1/1.7 Sony IMX686 sensor. This is the same sensor that we have seen on the Poco X2 but with minor upgrades.
Other cameras of this smartphone include an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and 30x digital zoom support. There’s also a 13MP f1/2.4 ultra-wide-angle lens with a 123-degree field of vision. Also, it has a 2MP macro lens for taking closeup shots of small objects.
The Redmi K30 Pro comes with dual-OIS support for better and smooth video stability. Both the primary and telephoto lens of the camera has OIS.
Also, on the front, you will get a 20MP selfie shooter and this one is a pop-up camera. This selfie camera record videos at 120FPS, you can also record video in 8K, then there’s bokeh mode, beauty mode and much more.
For the Battery, Redmi K30 Pro comes with a 4,700mAH battery. And this should easily last for one day considering the 60FPS panel.
Out of the box, Redmi gives a 33 Watt-hour fast charger, and it is capable of charging up the phone by 0-50% in just 30 minutes.
Connectivity and Audio
Redmi K30 Pro comes with dual-mode 5G, all thanks to the Snapdragon 865 processor. With 5G, you can get a download speed of up to 2.92Gbps. It also comes with WiFi 6 which offers download speed up to 9.6Gbps, there’ also Super Bluetooth 5.1 which expands the Bluetooth range up to 400 meters with better connectivity.
For the Audio experience, Redmi K30 Pro comes with Hi-Res Audio certification. so, it should provide better experience via the 3.5mm headphone jack.

Redmi K30 Pro: Features and Specifications
Now, the Redmi K30 Pro standard edition is the same as the Zoom edition. The only difference is in the quad camera’s on the back. The telephoto lens is replaced with a 5MP telephoto macro lens.
Another difference we see is are the Dual-OIS support, in Redmi K30 Pro standard edition there’s no OIS support. The rest of the specifications are the same as the zoom edition.
Coming to the Pricing, Redmi K30 Pro started to sell out at a price of 2,999 yuan (around Rs. 32,300) for the base variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The 8GB+128GB variant comes at 3,399 yuan (around Rs. 36,600) and 8GB+256GB variant comes at 8GB+256GB variant.
For the Redmi K30 Pro Zoom edition, you have will have to spend 3,799 (around Rs. 40,999) for the 8GB+128GB variant and 3,999 yuan (around Rs. 42,999) for the higher 8GB+256GB variant.
This was our Review of Redmi K30 Pro and it comes in four color variants, namely Moonlight White, Sky Blue, Star Ring Purple, and Space Gray. Redmi has yet not revealed about the availability of the smartphone.
Also, The base variant of the Redmi K30 Pro has a slower LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 3.0 storage instead of LPDDR5 and UFS 3.1.
